Subsequent to lifting of the related EU sanctions specified in the JCPOA that results in elimination of financial messaging restrictions, the banks that are delisted by the Implementing Regulation started the on-boarding process.
The process of re-connecting delisted Iranian banks to SWIFT network is underway and will be accomplished by completion of relevant administrative and technical requirements.
The banks are in the process of rejoining SWIFT and by completion of system check requirements they will be able to communicate with other banks around the world.
