Russia to back Iranian Int'l banking activities


St. Petersburg – On the sidelines of the 25th International Financial Congress in St. Petersburg, Komijani, the Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Iran met the Vice Governor of Central Bank of Russian Federation, Dmitry Skoblekin. Both sides expressed their determination on deepening Iran-Russia Banking in order to promote trade volume between the two countries.

 

According to CBI PR dept, in this meeting, Skoblekin announced his country’s support of Iranian endeavors to raise conformity with international standards and procedures and asked for more cooperation with Iran in regional groups.
Central bank of Russian Federation also announced support for activities of Russian commercial banks in Iran and announced that some of the biggest banks in Russia are working to establish banking correspondence with their Iranian counterparts.
Also in the 25th International Financial Congress, Komijani, CBI Deputy Governor, clarified Iran's economic situation and its accomplishments in the 11th administration.
