1-Watermark and Electrotype
The 3D image of a bird with the numeral 50 on its right wing is embedded in the paper pulp. When the Iran- Cheque is held up to the light, a bright 50 is clearly visible. 
n2-Windowed Color-Shifting Security Thread
There is a security thread embedded in an alternative pattern in the 500000 Rials Iran-Cheque. Its special coat shifts from gold to green in color when tilted. This security thread also features the map of Iran and the micro text “I.R.IRAN”.
n3-See-Through Register
When the Iran-Cheque is held up to the light, some parts of the numeral 50 is visible on the front combining perfectly with the remaining parts on the back.
n4-Micro-Lettering (Micro-Printing)
Micro-print is a very small but well-defined text that usually requires a magnifying glass. The phrase “IRAN CHEQUE” is micro-printed consecutively in the lower left corner. Micro-printing is only feasible by high-security printing machines.
n5-Intaglio Printing
This is a type of tactile printing, tangible by fingertips.The image of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza, the phrase “the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran” in Persian and the nominal value of the Iran-Cheque are printed by this method.
n6-Color-Shifting Magnetic Ink
The numeral "50" is printed on the reverse side of the Iran-Cheque by means of a high-security magnetic ink which shifts from gold to green in color when tilted.
n7-Shiny Stripe
On the reverse side of the Iran-Cheque, a shiny stripe is printed by means of a special ink which shines when the Iran-Cheque is tilted.
n8-3D Linear Design (Medallion)
This is a special kind of security printing where the image appears 3D.
n9-Invisible Fluorescent Fibers
Very small fibers are embedded in the Iran-Cheque paper, which become visible in blue, red, green and yellow under UV light.
n10-Serial Numbers
A unique serial number is printed by red and green fluorescent ink which shifts to gold and green in color under UV light.
n11-Fluorescent Ink Printing
Parts of the background of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza are printed by fluorescent ink which becomes reflective gold in color under UV light.
